There are three Westerville High Schools, and one of them is in disrepair, while the other two are polished and clean. Westerville South is the oldest of the three high schools, yes, but does it have to look so neglected? Take a walk through the halls at South and you will see walls that are in need of paint, scuffed floors and dirty stairways. Now take a trip to Central and North. The difference is tremendous. These two schools are spotless. Westerville South looks like a hellhole compared to the other schools. I am not blaming the kids, I just do not understand why it happens to be this way. If they all receive the same funding why is South such a mess? I recently walked the halls of North and commented to one of the staff that the school was very clean. They replied that they work hard to keep it that way. The kids at South deserve a nice environment as well.
